Jennifer Weaver, Councilwoman

Jennifer Weaver is our newest member of the Board, commencing her first term in January 2024. With a diverse background in public service and legal support, Jennifer is eager to share her experience in governance and community engagement in her role as Councilwoman.

Jennifer has served on the Stillwater Board of Assessment Review, handling property assessment complaints, and contributed to the Stillwater Police Commission’s Reform and Reinvention Collaborative. Her responsibilities included policy reviews, reports, and interviewing candidates for the Stillwater Police Department. Jennifer also played a vital role on the Stillwater COVID/ Code-Red Task force, overseeing vaccine availability for senior citizens in Stillwater.

In her tenure as a litigation paralegal at Thuillez, Ford, Gold, Johnson, and Butler, Jennifer collaborated with managing partner, Dale Thuillez and former Saratoga Springs Mayor, Scott Johnson. Notably, she was instrumental in the firm’s representation of New York State in the landmark lawsuit against Big Tobacco, resulting in significant financial benefits for the state and counties, including Stillwater.

Currently, Jennifer serves as the Deputy Commissioner at the Saratoga Board of Elections and is a member of the Saratoga County Water Authority Board of Directors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising Design from the College of St. Rose.

Since 2005, Jennifer and her husband Stephen, along with their two sons, have called Stillwater their home.
