This restored 1777 country house of American General Philip Schuyler is located in the Village of Schuylerville, approximately 8 miles north of the Battlefield. In season, Schuyler House is open for guided tours.
The Stillwater Blockhouse is located in a riverfront park with paths meandering down to the shore of the Hudson. Visitors can see "loopholes" used to shoot muskets through, colonial era artifacts and photos from earlier days in Stillwater.
