The White Sulphur Springs Pavillion is located at the corner of Luther Road and NYS Route 9P on Saratoga Lake. The purpose of the project is to renovate/restore the existing historic gazebo to its original historic character; clear and landscape the site to a park-like setting, provide adequate parking and handicapped accessibility, add signage, supply necessary utilities and lighting and provide for pedestrian circulation.
Supervisor Connor's plan, in cooperation with lake resident Gary Supley and members of the Saratoga Lake Association is to require the developer of the residential subdivision on the corner to build the pocket park to town specifications with no taxpayer dollars involved...he would then dedicate the completed park to the town and we would maintain it from that point.
More information will be available on this project in the coming weeks and months. The Town Engineer, Chazen Companies, has made available documents available for download. For more information on this project, visit the Saratoga Lake Association Website.
