The Town Offices located at the Town Hall are: Supervisor's Office, Town Clerk, Assessor, Tax Collector, Building Planning & Development, Office of Fiscal Management and the Stillwater Town Court.
The Town Hall is located at 881 Hudson Ave Stillwater, next to All Saints on the Hudson Church in the Village of Stillwater. The Town Hall is open Monday through Friday 8am until 3:30pm. Summer hours may vary within the individual offices.

The assessing office is a six year appointed position. Responsible for collecting and valuing new construction; processing all exemptions pertaining to real property tax; corrections of errors; processing sale transfers; and stating level of assessment.
The Office of Fiscal Management is responsible for the financial affairs of the Town of Stillwater. This office oversees the expenditures as well as the revenues in the Town. Colleen Zabielski has taken over the position of Director of Fiscal Management as of July 2011. This office works closely with the Supervisor and all other Department heads in maintaining fiscal integrity and accountability.
The Town of Stillwater is a Town of the second class. Collecting officers in Towns of the second class are known as Tax Collectors. This is an elected position with a two year term. Before entering upon the duties of the office, it is required that all tax collecting officers take and subscribe the Constitutional oath of office. In addition, an official undertaking or bond, which guarantees the faithful performance of the office, must be executed and filed in the Town Clerk’s Office. Once the Tax Collector has taken the oath and executed the bond, she becomes the insurer and guarantor of all moneys, securities, books, papers and records that the law provides shall be in her custody
